Service offered: The Adult Programme for People with Autism (APPA) is a daily enrichment programme for adults with moderate to severe Autism who are unable to independently perform the tasks required of adult life without additional prompting and support. APPA’s mission is to prepare young adults over the age of 18 for life outside of the schooling environment, by developing the skills and behaviours required for these adults to be able to maximize their potential, in line with our philosophy of life-long learning. We are based within the fabulous facilities of the REEA Foundation in Johannesburg. Our programme is varied, incorporating daily living, communication, social and pre-vocational skills and behaviours, as well as many community based activities.
